GLOBAL iFind Asset Protection Technology Gains Momentum through new KYCS Global Inc. and Crime Stoppers Working Partnership

February 5, 2019

Burlington, ON, February 5, 2019 – RSR Global Inc. is pleased to announce that its GLOBAL iFind program has been strengthened following the announcement of a new working relationship between KYCS Global Inc. and Toronto Crime Stoppers, whereby Crime Stoppers is leveraging the KYCS (Keep Your Community Safe) App and KYCS Global Network to provide consumers with an additional communication tool to anonymously report crimes. The KYCS App is free for consumers to download.

January is recognized globally as Crime Stoppers month. Crime Stoppers prevents and reduces crime by partnering with the community, law enforcement and the media to offer anonymity and cash rewards to anyone providing information leading to an arrest or of significant use.

“Their app will now offer citizens the opportunity to report anonymous information directly to Crime Stoppers within their mobile app,” said Sean Sportun, Toronto Crime Stoppers Chair at the International Crime Stoppers Month launch at Toronto Police headquarters on January 3, 2019.

RSR’s GLOBAL iFind program is powered by the KYCS App and KYCS Global Network. Its focus is on building safer communities by leveraging Bluetooth technology that allows law enforcement to locate stolen high-value assets through their network of Bluetooth enabled smartphones and long-range Bluetooth KYCS Zones. GLOBAL iFind devices are available through participating automotive, motorcycle, RV, powersports and marine dealerships across the country.

Dealers across Canada are actively marketing the program. “This product helps solve an issue we have locally. By offering GLOBAL iFind and being part of the larger asset protection and community safety network, it shows that Cold Lake Ford is a business that cares about its customers and community,” says Joni Laforce, F&I Manager at Cold Lake Ford, from Cold Lake, Alberta.

The GLOBAL iFind device features a small-scale design that is easily and covertly installed in most vehicles, motorcycles, boats, ATV’s, RV’s and other high value assets. The device utilizes the most advanced long-range Bluetooth identification technology available, even penetrating most building materials.

“KYCS Global’s working relationship with Crime Stoppers builds credibility for our Global iFind program,” says Amanda Paetkau, Vice President Dealer Group Solutions, RSR GLOBAL. “That said, as the program gains momentum, we are finding that consumers are increasingly eager to contribute to community safety across Canada by downloading the KYCS App and participating in the GLOBAL iFind program,” she adds.
